CVS Signs Lease at The Rockwell Project in Downtown New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE—Real estate development firm YoungCraft announced on June 4 that CVS Pharmacy signed a multi-year lease for 13,200 square feet of retail space at “The Rockwell,” the company’s mixed-use project currently under construction on North Avenue here.
CVS will re-locate its current store at 625 North Ave., down the block to the brand-new “Rockwell” location. The new store will feature a 24-hour drive up pharmacy window and 63 parking spaces and will offer convenient access to best-in-class pharmacy services. The store will also have food options, elevated beauty sections, and an enhanced assortment of health and wellness products.
Construction on The Rockwell is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2020.
The CVS location is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2020. A groundbreaking for The Rockwell was held in October 2018.

City of New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson said, “CVS’s continued presence on North Avenue as an anchor tenant of The Rockwell is good news for the area and for New Rochelle’s overall development plans. The Rockwell, named for the famous New Rochelle artist, Norman Rockwell, will feature 114 luxury apartments, a rooftop terrace, a community lounge, a fitness center and an additional 144 parking spaces for residents and adjoining retail customers. CVS will occupy 13,200 square feet of the development’s 22,000 total square feet devoted to ground floor retail.
New Rochelle-based YounCraft is seeking to develop high-end, mid-sized residential and mixed-use properties in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida.
