A.S.AP. Mortgage Corp. Founder and CEO Irene T. Amato has been selected by 914INC. Magazine as one of its 2019 “Women in Business” honorees. 914INC. honors the most successful and enterprising female executives, entrepreneurs, government and non-profit leaders in Westchester each year in the cover story of its winter issue.
Amato joins an illustrious group – past honorees include media maven Martha Stewart, clothing designer Eileen Fisher, former PepsiCo, Inc. CEO Indra Nooyi and New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins.
After beginning her career in the mortgage industry more than three decades ago. Amato founded A.S.A.P. Mortgage in 2001, and today it serves as an industry leader, serving the lending needs of real estate professionals, builders and individual home buyers throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Earlier this year Amato opened the company’s sixth branch in Dutchess County and will be opening its seventh branch in her “hometown” of the Bronx in early 2020.
Amato’s success was recognized previously by 914INC. in 2015, when the magazine selected A.S.A.P. Mortgage as a recipient of its annual Small Business Awards for general excellence. Amato herself has been named “Best Mortgage Broker” by Westchester Magazine, “Affiliate of the Year” by Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, and Broker of the Year” by the New York Association of Mortgage Brokers. She is also a member of Forbes magazine’s prestigious Real Estate Council, an invitation-only think tank of senior-level real estate industry executives and is a 2017 graduate of the elite Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
