Real Estate In-Depth | October 2019
Elisa Brickell, a litigator in New York City for almost 20 years, has joined Douglas Elliman’s Chappaqua office as a real estate agent.
Brickell has a background working on complex cases that included contract, construction, business, insurance and real estate disputes. Her numerous successes were built not only on the strong relationships she developed, but on her trustworthiness and impressive skills and valuable qualities that carry over in her real estate career. Among them are her ability to carefully listen and promptly respond to clients, her accessibility and can-do attitude, thorough preparation, keen attention to detail, meticulous presentation, and persuasive negotiating. Client advocacy and clear, precise communication are also key elements of her unique service approach, Douglas Elliman stated.
Brickell and her husband, also an attorney, and her two now-grown children lived in Briarcliff Manor for 18 years and established deep roots there, staying active in local school and community-based organizations. Five years ago, the couple downsized to a house in a Homeowners Association community in the heart of Armonk, where she was elected to the Board of Directors and subsequently served as its President for two years. She continues on as a Board member.
Brickell graduated from New York University with a B.A. degree in Political Science and earned her J.D. degree from Fordham University. Her professional affiliations and memberships include the New York State Bar Association, Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors and Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service.
