Lou Budetti, principal broker of ERA Insite Realty Services, reports the firm has welcomed Juliette Muity who recently joined the brokerage’s Bronxville office as an Associate Real Estate Broker, and Terence “Terry” Durfy, who has joined the Thornwood office/Newbauer Division as a licensed real estate salesperson.
Muity was most recently associated with Houlihan Lawrence in Bronxville. With 20 years industry experience and a history of serving international clientele, she is fluent in her native language, Hungarian, and can also communicate with clients in French, Russian and German. Over the years she has earned the Graduate, Realtors Institute and the Certified Buyer Representative designations.
Durfy joins ERA Insite from Coldwell Banker in Briarcliff Manor. Prior to that, he spent eight years with Gains Realty in Thornwood where he initially learned the real estate business from the ground up. A longtime resident of Mount Pleasant where he raised his family, Durfy earned his Masters Degree in Education from Toledo University and taught for several years before getting into industrial sales and manufacturing consulting.
Kenyatta Jones-Arietta, Broker/Owner of R2M Realty, Inc., was recently chosen to serve on the Leadership Rockland Board of Directors. The Realtor was selected to participate in the 2014-15 Leadership Rockland Program over more than 200 applications. She completed the session and was chosen to represent her class on the Leadership Rockland Board of Directors. The Leadership Rockland program is designed to give its participants a comprehensive overview of the Rockland County community and are taught by leaders who work in all aspects of the county including government, health, environment, art, history, media and philanthropy.
“I saw Leadership Rockland as an opportunity to meet like minded people and learn more about the county, but now being on the other side of the program… I am still amazed by how much I didn’t know about the place I call home. Aside from the insight, the program is structured in a way that fosters thought, creativity and leaves you looking for your place in Rockland to make an impact.” This year marked the 25th year of the program. There were 26 participants in the 2014-15 graduating class.
J. Philip Real Estate, and its principles, Jennifer Maher (manager) and Phil Faranda (broker), announced recently the affiliation of Brittany Alvarez with its Mahopac office.
With experience in both the public and private sectors, Alvarez brings a polished and well-honed resume to the J Philip Real Estate Team, company officials stated.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County reported recently that Yorktown resident Laura Acocella has been appointed branch office manager of the company’s Katonah office. Acocella will be responsible for the oversight of approximately 30 real estate professionals serving homebuyers and sellers in Katonah, Armonk, Lewisboro, North Salem, Pound Ridge, South Salem and the surrounding communities in Northern Westchester County.
Prior to her new role, Acocella managed the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Somers.

Before joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Acocella owned and operated Century 21 Elite Properties in Katonah for about seven years, which was acquired by Coldwell Banker in 2008.
Realtor Brendan Daly recently joined the Green Team Home Selling System, a full service real estate brokerage in the Village of Warwick.
Daly, who currently owns a company specializing in excavating and property maintenance, has been in the construction business for 32 years. During his long career, his completed projects included subdivisions and other residential and commercial projects as well as serving as a project manager.
Jackie Ruby has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Westchester Properties. The announcement was made by Mark Nadler, director of Westchester sales for the brokerage’s Scarsdale and Larchmont offices.
Ruby has worked in the real estate industry for more than 18 years. A born and bred Manhattan native, her real estate roots began in Scarsdale and have grown throughout Westchester County all the way to Northern Westchester.
The Waccabuc resident is the “Saucy Realtor” featured in WAG Magazine and writes a monthly recipe “Whetting the Appetite” for WAG. She has expanded her passion for cooking into a worthwhile cause by cooking meals for the elderly and sick.
Houlihan Lawrence recently announced new additions to its Armonk, East Fishkill, LaGrangeville, Katonah, New Rochelle, Pelham and Yorktown offices.
New additions to the Armonk office include Tara Siegel, a New York City native, and Armonk native Claudia Spinelli, who arrives with more than a decade of experience,in real estate, holding previous positions at Saunders & Associates and Corcoran Group.

Jessica Chutka-Pelletier brings a background in estate management to Houlihan Lawrence’s LaGrangeville brokerage office.
Nancy Musich has joined the Katonah office as a Real Estate Salesperson. Musich, who resides in Waccabuc, led a successful career in executive recruiting prior to entering real estate.
The combination of renovating her second home, and a penchant for house flipping shows, initially drew Melanie Williams to real estate. Williams joined Houlihan Lawrence’s New Rochelle office as a real estate salesperson, bringing more than 10 years of experience to the brokerage’s New Rochelle office.
Christine Gesky-Farahat, who has a strong background in interior design, has joined the brokerage firm’s Pelham office as a real estate salesperson.
Coming from a family of homebuilders, Deborah “Debbie” Barry recently joined Houlihan Lawrence’s Yorktown office as a real estate salesperson. Barry is also a Certified Staging Agent, with previous experience in the business and digital marketing world.
A.S.A.P. Mortgage recently welcomed Thomas Bitondo, a New York State Licensed Loan Originator at its Cortlandt Manor office.
Bitondo has spent most of his adult life as a multi-faceted entrepreneur. His past accomplishments include owning and operating a very successful design firm, which performed many projects that included marketing, advertising and creative services.
On the other end of the media world, he has been actively involved in entertainment, as a well-respected music producer, arranger, and instrumentalist, company officials stated.
He wore the hat of “real estate salesperson” several times in his life; in the 1980s, in New York City, and, in the early 2000s, in Westchester.
Bitondo is a Fordham University (CBA) graduate, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in marketing.
