Melissa A. Fogarty has joined R2M Realty, Inc. of Nyack. Fogarty, a licensed real estate salesperson, grew up in Rockland and started her career in real estate sales in 2001 shortly after building the Fogarty family home.
She joins the Nyack-based firm after being affiliated with Keller Williams Hudson Valley Realty.
The partners of McClellan Sotheby’s International Realty, Carol Brown, Sona Davidian and Mary Grimm, recently announced that Colleen Gallivan is joining the firm as a licensed real estate salesperson.
Gallivan graduated from Rosemont College in Rosemont, PA with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. She worked at AOL Time Warner as a marketing manager for 12 years, prior to moving to Pelham.
ERA Curasi Realty of Montgomery recently announced the addition of Jeff Lyons, Michael Guattery, Kenneth Miller and Anthony Cracolici to its team of real estate professionals serving consumers in the Mid-Hudson Valley region. They will be busy attending training such as ERA Brand Champion, ERA New Agent Training, ERA Marketing Consultation, Pricing Analysis & Saleability Ratings and their training will be on-going, company officials said.
Warwick Realtor Ineka Menken-Pirovitz recently joined the Green Team Home Selling System, a full service real estate brokerage headquartered at 7 Main St. in the Village of Warwick.
Menken-Pirovitz has broad and extensive real estate experience in brokerage and property management, specializing in residential leasing. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English as a Second Language Education and is licensed to teach that subject in New York.
As a property manager in New York City, knowledgeable in rent stabilization laws and filings, she was responsible for all facets of property management including but not limited to: tenant relations, collections, court appearances and communication with vendors.
From 2005 to 2009 Menken-Pirovitz owned and operated ICAM Realty Corp., a residential leasing office servicing landlords in New York City. During that time she developed a strong track record in supporting landlords with vacancies by implementing aggressive marketing strategies and efficient application procedures.
Hudson United Insurance reported recently that Quashinna Williams has joined its New City-based group.
“We are extremely excited to have Quashinna join Hudson United Insurance,” said Daniel Rand, director of home services at Hudson United Insurance, Title, and Mortgage. “Her addition brings a wealth of New Jersey property-casualty knowledge to service our firm’s rapidly expanding real estate operation.”
Williams was in the U.S. Army from 1997-2001 and is a 2008 graduate of DeVry University in North Brunswick, NJ where she earned a degree in marketing and business. Williams has been a licensed Realtor since 2004 and became a licensed insurance agent in 2011.
Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty has announced that Emilia Freitag of the company’s Ridgefield, New Jersey office, has been given the Women’s History Celebration Award by the Borough of Ridgefield, with an accompanying commendation from the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders and a citation from the New Jersey Senate and State Assembly.
Freitag has recently been named a Five-Star Real Estate Agent in New Jersey for her fifth consecutive year, an award that is given to the top 7% of agents, all of whom are rated by a homebuyers’ survey that is administered by QMI research.
For several years, Freitag’s sales have made her either a silver- or gold-level agent, as decided by the Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors, and was honored with the Distinguished Sale Club Award in 2013. Over the past few years, Rand Realty has presented Freitag with the Platinum Award in 2012 and 2014, as well as the Emerald Elite Award in 2013.
Warwick resident and former Village Mayor Anthony Portelli is celebrating his 30th anniversary as a Licensed Realtor, serving Warwick and Southern Orange County.
Portelli, who also served as Village Trustee, has lived in Warwick for more than 35 years with his wife, Lorraine, and their son Nick. He has been a consistent volunteer at the Warwick Town Summer Senior Picnic as well as the St. Anthony Community Hospital Annual Golf Outing.
As a Licensed Realtor with the Green Teem Home Selling System, Portelli has earned many designations during the course of his career. He recently added CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) to his numerous professional credentials. He previously received the Orange County Association of Realtors Bronze Award for Excellence in Sales.
