NYACK—Début Hotel Group, Hampshire Hotels Management’s collection of lifestyle hotel brands, announced late last month the signing of an agreement with boutique development house WY Group for the newly constructed 133-room Time Hotel Nyack, located at 400 High Ave. here.
Expected to open this fall and built in an industrial loft style within a former factory, the hotel features views of the Hudson River and Tappan Zee Bridge, seven suites, approximately 3,500-square feet of meeting and event space, a business center, recreational dipping pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a bike program, local shuttle services and a Tesla charging station. Additionally, the hotel will offer a “vibrant lounge and dining scene” yet to be announced, according to Debut Hotel Group.
“Having just reinvented our Time Hotels brand, we are very pleased to debut the Time Nyack, just a short distance, but a world apart, from our flagship Time New York Hotel,” said Eric Danziger, president and CEO of Début Hotel Group and Hampshire Hotels Management. “We are excited to partner with developers Michael Yanko and Kerry Wellington of WY Group to deliver an exceptional, distinctive experience to travelers looking for both a progressive and refined lodging experience.”
“Having worked in Nyack intimately for years, we are excited to partner with Début Hotel Group and Hampshire Hotels Management to bring the first-ever lifestyle hotel to the Rockland area,” Yanko said.
Wellington added, “We are filling a void that has been missing from the area and are honored to be partnering with such an experienced and exciting brand.”
Construction financing on the project is being provided by Procida Funding and Advisors.
