TARRYTOWN—The Third Annual Real Estate Summit to be held on May 14 will cover a host of issues, including a close look at the transformational projects shaping the Hudson Valley’s future and lessons to be learned from the failed Amazon deal in New York City.

The event at the Westchester Marriott will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will include opening remarks by Bill Mooney, president & CEO of the Westchester County Association and Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

The first panel discussion will focus on transformational projects in Westchester and the Hudson Valley and will include speakers that will discuss Marist Health Quest School of Medicine Project. The second panel entitled “The Amazon Deal: A Case Study on Performance-Based Incentives” will be moderated by CBRE Executive Vice President William Cuddy and will feature an IDA specialist, a representative from Empire State Development, Lennar Multifamily executive Greg Belew and T-Rex Capital Group’s Tom Mulroy.

The program will finish with a special presentation on virtual reality as well as the WCA’s Annual Policy Playbook awards presentation that recognizes municipalities in Westchester and the Hudson Valley for exceptional work in planning and training.
