WHITE PLAINS—A single-tenant retail building on Mamaroneck Avenue here has been sold for $2.1 million.

Brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a private investor, in the sale of 75 Mamaroneck Ave., according to John Krueger, regional manager of the firm’s Manhattan office.

P.M. Gillen Tutoring Service acquired the 5,300-square-foot single-tenant retail building. Paul Adler, Esq. of Rand Commercial represented the buyer in the transaction.

Joseph C. French, Jr. and Roger Reddy, Jr. of Marcus & Millichap’s Westchester office had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller.

“Due to the lack of quality retail space in Westchester County, we were able to create demand for the property and achieve a high price per square foot that has not recently been seen on Mamaroneck Avenue,” French said.

The building constructed circa 1923 contains 4,500 square feet above grade and 800 square feet on the second floor. The property is located at the corner of Mamaroneck Avenue and Mitchell Place.
