Grabavoy Heaven & Kinney Join Douglas Elliman Armonk

Douglas Elliman reports that Mary Ann Grabavoy Heaven and Sharon Kinney have joined its Armonk office.
Heaven e graduated magna cum laude as a member of the first class of women at The University of Notre Dame and went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Notre Dame Law School, where she was designated a White Scholar for Law, Government and Human Rights. After becoming a member of the Illinois Bar, she moved to New York City to begin her nearly 20-year career in television, where she went to work for ABC Sports under the iconic television figure, Roone Arledge.
Heaven earned three national Emmy Awards for her production work at ABC Sports, several of those as producer for ABC’s Wide World of Sports. As a producer and writer for the legendary Jim McKay, she headed a production team that travelled the world, creating and perfecting the sports personality art form, “Up Close and Personal.” At ABC and NBC Sports, she produced and reported as an on-air broadcaster at several Olympic Games, including the 1984 Winter & Summer Olympic Games and the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
She retired from broadcasting in 1997 and joined her husband, Marshall, in their Greenwich real estate firm, M.H. Heaven Real Estate LLC, where she worked in residential brokerage and development, having built several homes and townhomes, and commercial buildings with a value of approximately $50 million. Mary Ann and Marshall marketed and sold a wide range of properties in Greenwich and the surrounding region, including new developments, of more than $100 million.
Heaven moved to Douglas Elliman of Connecticut LLC in 2015 and joined the Armonk office in September of 2018.
Kinney, who moved to Greenwich in 1987, has been selling real estate in Greenwich for nearly 20 years. Before that, her sales expertise was honed in the world of brand marketing and marketing research, where she worked for Pepsi-Cola.
A licensed Realtor in Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island, she is a member of the Greenwich Multiple Listing Service, HGMLS of New York, the Statewide MLS of Rhode Island and the National Association of Realtors. She completed further study and earned her GRI designation (Graduate of the Realtor Institute).
