Murphy Brothers Contracting Recipient of Town Vibe Green Award

HGAR Affiliate Murphy Brothers Contracting was the recent recipient of a Town Vibe Green Award in the category of “Businesses or non-profit organizations that have significantly incorporated green practices or products into their culture and operations.”

Murphy Brothers believe that building green is simply building smart which is why they incorporated Suntegra Solar Roof Shingles into their Stamford, CT renovation project. On hand to accept the award with Michael Murphy from Murphy Brothers Contracting were Suntegra CEO Oliver Koehler and Andrew Nuzzi, AIA.

The Green Awards issued by Town Vibe recognize businesses, non-profits, and individuals who are leading the local fight to protect the environment while also creating a sustainable social and economic community. Murphy Brothers Contracting is a Mamaroneck-based general contracting firm specializing in both residential and non-residential construction projects in Westchester and Fairfield counties.
