Villasuso Elected NYSEDC Vice Chair

Laurie Villasuso, chief operating officer and executive vice president of the Orange County Industrial Development Agency and The Accelerator, a New York State Certified business incubator, has been elected to serve a two-year-term as vice chair of the New York State Economic Development Council.
Villasuso was elected to the post at the NYSEDC’s 2018 annual meeting in Cooperstown last month. The NYSEDC has been the state’s principal organization representing economic development professionals, colleges and universities, and public-sector enterprises for more than 40 years.
