NANUET—The Rand Real Estate Academy announced earlier this month that it has opened at 200 Grand Ave. in Hawthorne, NJ, with approved satellite locations in Bergen County.
“At our academy, we want to provide a basic knowledge of real estate and the tools students will need in order to pass the New Jersey licensing exam,” said Jeffrey Halpern, director of the Rand Real Estate Academy. “This academy is more than just passing a test. For us, we want to make sure the academy prepares its students with the drive to go out into the real estate industry and find the success we know they’re capable of.”
The academy is a pre-licensing school for New Jersey students looking to obtain their New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson license. The academy teaches a 75-hour pre-licensing course that’s required by the state in order for a student to qualify to take the NJ exam. It is also certified to teach classes in continuing education for NJ real estate, which are required for agents in order to renew their licenses every two years. The classes are offered by four instructors: Joseph Rand, managing director; Jeffrey Halpern; and Frank DiCocco and Roberta Bangs, certified NJ real estate instructors.
Students who plan on taking the course have the option to either attend the class five days a week for three weeks; or, if they are looking to have a dual career, they can attend evening classes twice a week for 10 weeks. The class schedule can be found by clicking on the link. If you are interested in attending the academy, please call (973) 427-8650, or e-mail at info@rand.me for more information.
“The Rand Real Estate Academy will be fundamental in the achievements of our students,” said Halpern. “Upon completing the course, they will be ready to go out and provide their clients with the proper and well-educated guidance they deserve.”
