Go Green for our vetsWARWICK—The Green Team Home Selling System in the Village of Warwick recently got on board with a national promotion designed to encourage people to honor our veterans by changing one light to green in a visible location at home or office as a symbol of appreciation and support for our veterans.

Jen DiCostanzo, an associate broker at the Green Team Real Estate office on Main Street thought this was a good idea that would complement the firm’s policy of giving back to the community. Owner Geoff Green agreed and offered to not only display green spot lights outside the office but to also distribute hundreds of green light bulbs, as long as the supply lasted, to any business or home owner who requested one.

Scott and Tim Bieling, owners of Roe Brothers Lumber in Florida, NY, joined in by donating the green bulbs. “It’s important to honor our veterans,” said Green, “But sometimes it’s hard to show our appreciation when they are back home and out of uniform. This is one way to show them our support by changing one light to green.”
